June2, JCET Group announced that the company has wrapped up the placement of its inaugural 2026 sci-tech innovation medium-term note, officially named JCET Group Co., Ltd. 2026 First-Tranche Sci-Tech Innovation Medium-Term Note with the trading shorthand 26 JCET MTN001 (Sci-Tech Bond).
The note carries a 5-plus-5 year maturity structure. Both the planned and actual fundraising volumes hit 2.4 billion yuan at a fixed coupon rate of 1.85 percent.
In 2025, JCET received approval from the National Association of Financial Market Institutional Investors to register and issue medium-term notes of up to RMB 4.8 billion. In December of the same year, the company successfully issued “25 JCET MTN001 Technology Innovation Bonds,” with an issuance size of RMB 2.4 billion, the same 5+5-year term, and a coupon rate of 2.00%. The coupon rate for the latest tranche was further reduced to 1.85%, reflecting continued recognition by the capital markets of JCET’s overall strength, credit profile, disciplined operations, and long-term growth prospects. The issuance will also help the company further diversify its direct financing channels, optimize its financing structure, and reduce its overall funding costs.
According to the announcement, China Minsheng Banking Corp., Ltd. served as the lead underwriter and bookrunner for the issuance, while China Construction Bank Corporation and Industrial Bank Co., Ltd. acted as joint lead underwriters.
As a leading global provider of IC back-end manufacturing and technology services, JCET has continued to strengthen its technology and capacity investments in key areas including high-end advanced packaging and the advancement of mainstream packaging technologies. The company will further leverage capital market financing instruments to support technological innovation and industrial development, providing stronger financial support for its long-term sustainable growth.
